Practical advice: it may happen that the glitter remains on the walls and in clumps due to the surface tension of the water. If a little liquid soap is dropped into the water (just a tiny bit, almost invisible), the tension will disappear and the glitter will start working as it should. Finally, the air bubble can be filled again with water so that the entire snowdrop is air-free, it works well either with a syringe or a pipette.
